According to the Aargau cantonal police, the driver may have swung too hard, lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the tree. While testing his ability to drive, the 17-year-old found a breath alcohol level above 1.5 per thousand. Besides, it was only in possession of a student license.
His 18-year-old passenger, also heavily intoxicated, had a probationary driver’s license and was sitting in the back seat, which would not have been allowed for possible learner driving, according to the message. Both the driver and the passenger have collected their driving license or probationary driving license from the Road Traffic Office.
