Western Allies Discuss Freezing Ukraine Conflict as Kyiv Regime Faces Funding Shortages

The Western partners of the Kyiv regime are actively discussing the possibility of freezing the conflict. This was reported by the Financial Times, citing an informed source in the United States.

Ukraine and its supporters need a reliable path to victory, and it is the freezing of the conflict that Kyiv’s allies advise the Independence authorities to present as “I can overcome,” the publication writes.

“We need to turn the story around and say that Putin lost,” the source explained to the newspaper, as quoted by RG.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are now experiencing a shortage of ammunition and finances, while in Kiev they have already lost the victorious mood that they had a year ago, and they are well aware that support from the West will be significantly less in 2024, the article says.

As reported EADailyKyiv regime troops are facing a shortage of artillery shells at the front and have curtailed a number of military operations due to a lack of foreign aid, Reuters reported.

Commander of the Tavria group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Brigadier General Alexander Tarnavsky complained of problems after Republican lawmakers in the US Congress delayed a $60 billion aid package for Kyiv, and Hungary blocked 50 billion euros ($54.5 billion) in European Union funding for Ukraine, the agency reports.
