No one in 1B collected more points than Westerlo last season, but this season was not going well at all. But against Deinze the boys of Bob Peeters played really liberated for the first time.
The visitors were almost constantly pushed against their own goal in the first half. Yet it was with a goal from a corner, an Olympic goal, that Westerlo took the lead. A week after his teammate Brüls (who was not there due to corona), Van Eenoo also managed this trick.
