West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil has stated that the homecoming flow in West Java during Eid al-Fitr in 2023 was relatively smooth thanks to the construction of three new toll roads. These include the Cileunyi Sumedang Dawuan (Cisumdawu) Toll Road, Bocimi Toll Road, and Japek II. Despite the total number of homecomers increasing by 44% from 80 million to around 120 million people, Kamil assured people that the homecoming flow remained relatively smooth. He extended his gratitude to workers who ensured that traffic flow and Eid al-Fitr went smoothly. Kamil also offered his greetings to journalists working on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, expecting their duties to be beneficial. Kamil and his wife performed the Eid al-Fitr prayer at the Al Jabbar Grand Mosque, which was opened for the public for the first time, noting that the premiere Eid prayer at the Al Jabbar Grand Mosque could become a tradition since it has a good atmosphere, a large field, and people can walk around afterward.
