West Indies Stuns India with Massive Comeback in Bridgetown Clash

Bridgetown: West Indies make a huge comeback by knocking down India’s forward line. After 25 overs, India are 113 for the loss of five wickets. Suryakumar Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja are at the crease. India, who started well, were suddenly pushed into collapse by the West Indies. Windies won the toss and invited India to bat.

But Indian openers Ishan Kishan and Shubmangill crushed the hopes of Windies. Both of them scored 90 runs in the opening wicket. Boundaries came from both the bats at every opportunity. Meanwhile, Kishan also found his second half-century of the series. But Gill’s attempt to lift Moti was caught by Alsari Joseph.

With that Gill scored 34 runs and got out. All eyes on Sanju who replaced Virat Kohli. A good innings was expected from Sanju as the opening partnership looked like a batting track. Meanwhile, Kishan was sent off by Alit Athanase with a brilliant catch. Kishan scored 55 runs. After that, India’s wickets fell like garlands. Axar Patel(1), Hardik Pandya(7) and Sanju Samson(9) are out. After India fell to 113 for four, Sanju tried to defend one but fell to Kariya’s ball.

Sanju scored 9 runs from 19 balls. Not a single boundary came from that bat. Two wickets fell in the last ball of the 23rd over and the first ball in the 24th over weakened India. Skipper Hardik Pandya and Sanju Samson were out. Then came the rain.
