West Ham United’s preseason preparations continued Tuesday night as two friendlies played, and Pierre Ekwah stole the show in one of them.
The Hammers sent a team to Northampton Town and came out winning 2-1 against the League Two team.
Another team made the short trip to face Leyton Orient but could only come out with a 0-0 draw as David Moyes looks to build towards the Europa League.

The team that faced Leyton Orient featured some experienced players, with Darren Randolph, Aaron Cresswell, Mark Noble, Angelo Ogbonna and Michail Antonio all starting.
There were also outings for new signings Pierre Ekwah and Armstrong Oko-Flex, with the former really impressive.
Ekwah has arrived from Chelsea this summer, with West Ham paying around £ 1.3 million to sign the former Nantes talent.

The Frenchman started in midfield against Leyton Orient, and fans were blown away by the teenager, taking to Twitter to talk about the former Chelsea talent.
Some called him ‘special’ and ‘levels above Mark Noble’, believing he has a ‘great future’ at London Stadium; Chelsea’s defeat may well be West Ham’s gain.
