Teams from 13 competitions
West Ham United is the club that has spent the most on transfers in the winter market with a total of 26.4 million euros invested in three reinforcements: Saïd Benrahma, Jesse Lingard and Frederik Alves. The Algerian winger Benrahma, hired from Brentford in exchange for 23 million, has been the most expensive winter signing in international football.
Ajax Amsterdam and Manchester United are the next teams in the investment ranking, featuring clubs from a total of 13 different leagues. The Dutch signed Sébastien Haller from West Ham for € 22.5m and secured the loan of Sevilla winger Oussama Idrissi. Meanwhile, the English allocated 21 million euros to close their only incorporation, the 18-year-old attacker from Ivorian Amad Diallo.

Following those mentioned are RB Leipzig from the Bundesliga and AS Monaco from Ligue 1 with one transfer each and at the same cost of € 20m: Dominik Szoboszlai and Krépin Diatta.
Carlos Fernández, the most expensive signing in LaLiga
The first LaLiga team in this classification is Real Sociedad, which spent 10 million on the signing of Andalusian striker Carlos Fernández in the biggest winter operation of the Spanish competition. Thus, the Basques occupy the 16th position and are the only representatives of LaLiga in the top 25. Likewise, the national tournament fell to eighth position in the global ranking of investment in transfers with € 21.2 million.
As an outstanding note, the presence of the Juventus Turin subsidiary is surprising. The Italian team invested a total of 12.5 million euros in various reinforcements: Marley Aké (€ 8 million), Christopher Lungoyi (€ 2.5 million), Emanuele Pecorino (€ 2 million), in addition to the loans Abdoulaye Dabo and Mattia Compagnon.
