Slavia Prague has proven to be an amazing source of quality for West Ham United.
The Czech top flight hasn’t been known as a major exporter of talent to the Premier League of late, but that seems to be changing.
West Ham swooped in to sign Tomas Soucek from Slavia in January 2020, and their excellent displays meant they came back with another move last summer.

The Hammers signed right-back Vladimir Coufal from Slavia, reuniting him with Soucek, and he has starred as well, becoming a fan favorite alongside Soucek.
Could West Ham do three? Well, The Mirror (Jan 8, p53) claimed that Slavia striker Abdallah Sima was a £ 20m target for David Moyes.
Add that Soucek recommended Sima to West Ham, as he admitted to Ceska Televize in December, and a summer move wouldn’t be a huge surprise.
Sima, 19, has been a sensation this season with 19 goals and five assists in just 29 games, scoring a goal to kill Leicester City in Thursday’s Europa League clash.

If Premier League clubs didn’t know about Sima before, they certainly do now, and West Ham will hope to fend off any rival interests.
Now former Liverpool and Czech Republic player Vladimir Smicer told The Scottish Daily Mail (02/27, p121) that he believes Sima is “always a threat.”
However, Smicer was honest, stating that Sima doesn’t dominate the games yet at this stage in his development, but only manages to make a big difference at the right time.
“Sima is always a threat,” Smicer said. “He’s really shining this season and he’s producing goals. He is not a player who is always dominating a game, but he comes at the right time to make a difference, “he added.
