PARIS (EFE).- The French goalkeeper Alphonse Areola, who has played this past season on loan with West Ham, is going to stay with the English club that has reached an agreement with what was formally his team until now, the Paris Saint Germain (PSG).
The 29-year-old goalkeeper, who has spent most of his career playing on loan (he spent one season at Real Madrid and another at Villareal), has made 18 league appearances in the last year for West Ham, who have decided keep it, PSG explained in a statement.
The French club wished him “much success” in this new stage that closes another with PSG, with whom he trained and with whom he played a total of 107 games in all competitions with his professional team.
Areola has also been international three times with the French team. EFE.
