West Ham United are set to complete the double signing of Niclas Fullkrug and Guido Rodriguez, respectively Fabrizio Romano.
The structure of the deal will see West Ham pay an initial £21.1m and a further £3.4m in performance-related add-ons.
Fullkrug is expected to sign a three-year deal with the option of a further 12 months and pocket around £2.5m a year in wages.
The 31-year-old will undergo a medical examination in the coming days.
Julen Lopetegui was reportedly pushing for the Irons to sign Fullkrug, while technical director Tim Steidten led negotiations for the experienced striker.
He scored 16 goals and ten assists in 46 games in all competitions for Dortmund last season. He also scored twice for Germany at this summer’s European Championship.
Barring a late conversion, Guido Rodriguez joins Fullkrug at the London Stadium. The Argentine midfielder is also on the verge of signing for the Hammers.
The 30-year-old is a free agent after cutting ties with Real Betis earlier this summer and is ready for a new chapter in the Premier League.
Rodriguez featured 29 times in all competitions for Betis last season, contributing two goals and an assist. He was also part of the Argentine team that won the 2024 Copa America.
West Ham could be the team to watch next season, with Steidten and Lopetegui assembling an exciting squad at the London Stadium.
After signing Max Kilman, they are set to add Fullkrug and Rodriguez, while a deal for Leeds United star Crysencio Summerville is also in the offing.
The Hammers are also working on a deal to sign Manchester United full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka after missing out on Noussair Mazraoui.
With the caliber of players about to enter the squad, West Ham should have a squad strong enough to mount a serious bid for a top-six spot this season.
