A possible West Ham transfer into the advanced ranks faces ruin after they took a final stance on the financial aspects of the deal, according to a report.
West Ham they hope their foray into the Europa League next season will not hamper their national form. The Hammers qualified for Europe after securing the second-best Premier League result in their history last season (sixth).
To ensure David Moyes can meet challenges on two fronts, transfer window acquisitions are a must this summer. One department in desperate need of reinforcements is the forwards.
Michail Antonio remains the only No. 9 recognized senior in the first team after Sebastien Haller was sold in January.
However, Antonio has struggled with persistent hamstring injuries in recent seasons. As such, he cannot be trusted to withstand the rigors of an entire season.

As such, West Ham has been linked with several direct forwards, including Tammy Abraham and Paul Onuachu.
Both would challenge Antonio for the sole role of center forward. But with Arsenal and Tottenham interested in Abraham, a move for the 6 foot 6 inch hitman Genk Onuachu it seemed the most likely prospect.
The 27-year-old linked with the men of Moyes after racking up an incredible 29 goals in 33 league games last year.
However, according to Sport Witness, the measure faces collapse. That’s because of the difference in what West Ham is willing to pay compared to what Genk wants.
The Belgian team reportedly wants € 30 million for the Nigeria international, although it would be open to € 25 million with add-ons. West Ham is said to be only willing to shell out € 15 million.
Preliminary talks are said to have taken place, although the transfer fee issue has stalled proceedings.
West Ham threatens to disconnect
With the saga drawn out, West Ham has threatened to disengage if a compromise cannot be reached before the first week of August.
The article (quoting Own Goal Nigeria) quotes a source with knowledge of the events saying: “It is a disaster right now because Onuachu wants to leave. But Genk’s asking price is scaring suitors.
“Even the much-talked about West Ham deal is in jeopardy after initial talks.
“He is 27 years old and the clubs expect Genk to be modest in his demands. But that is not the case at the moment.
