West Ham Players Heroically Save Boy from Advertising Screen After Goal Celebration During Historic Victory

West HamTomas Soucek and Jarrod Bowen had to stop celebrating a goal to prevent a disaster by saving a boy from ball carriers who had fallen on top of an advertising screen in the game in which the team won by two clean sheets over… Christ’s Palace.

But some of those fans entered the arena when the advertising boards fell down, and one of the ball-carrying boys was pinned under one of the screens.

Immediately, Soucek quickly raised the screen while Bowen helped the boy to his feet.

Both players made sure the boy was safe before play resumed, and Bowen went on to score West Ham’s second goal five minutes later.

This was West Ham’s first victory under the leadership of its new coach Julen Lopetegui.
