West Ham Interested in Sofyan Amrabat, Targeted by Manchester United and Napoli

Local reports suggest West Ham have probed a move for Sofyan Amrabat, who is also wanted by Manchester United and Napoli.

The 26-year-old midfielder rose to fame last season during the World Cup in Qatar, where he played a crucial role in Morocco’s historic run to the semi-finals.

Immediately after the tournament, Amrabat was linked with several moves and even Barcelona came out with a late offer, but he ultimately closed out the season with Fiorentina.

As reported by TGR Rai Toscana via TMWWest Ham have emerged to start exploring a potential move for Amrabat this summer, but have been met with some resistance from the midfielder, who isn’t entirely sold on the move.

Fiorentina are set to sell Amrabat this summer and are awaiting offers, with Manchester United and Barcelona keeping an eye on the 26-year-old. TMW also suggests that defending champion Napoli is interested in signing him.

La Viola wants at least 30 million euros for the Moroccan midfielder. His brother and agent, Nordin, recently told ESPN that “he wants to get to the top, you’re not going to trade Italy for the middle of the Premier League.”
