West Ham gave a ’12’ to a girl with cancer

Christmas always offers nice stories starring the clubs. If you add to this that ‘Boxing Day’ is a very special day in England, the formula comes out on its own.

West Ham knows this well, it has wanted to have a detail with one of its younger amateurs, Caton Island. At just 12 years old, she has become a symbol in the fight against childhood cancer.

West Ham has included Isla Caton in the call with the number 12 on the back, for the game against Southampton. But the little fan has not been able to go to the Olympic Stadium in London.

Unfortunately, the little girl had to go to the hospital for a blood transfusion, as she suffers from a rare type of cancer called neuroblastoma. Even so, through the Twitter account, he wanted to thank West Ham for the gesture.
