entertainment">Although the two are not officially divorced yet, Yo and Wes decided to end their marriage in 2019. The brunette soon moved to Los Angeles with their son Xess Xava, but Wesley does not give up. He admits that he will have to ‘fight hard’.

entertainment">“I made mistakes,” he says in conversation with Frank Evenblij in Villa Oranje about his failed marriage. “I am very sorry about that now, but you don’t buy much for that. (…) I certainly hope that something can be salvaged. It is the most important goal in my life, the rest is on the back burner.”

entertainment">Wesley and Yolanthe have been together since 2009. Although nothing was disclosed about the reason when they announced their breakup ten years later, Sneijder later admitted that he had screwed up. In his book Sneijder, he admits that things got out of hand during parties and at those moments he moved on with other women than he should have.
