A new fast-food straight from the west coast of the United States has just opened in Sarcelles. Fatburger, created in 1952 in Los Angeles, chose the My Place shopping center for its first plant in France, right next to the Mac Donald’s. The tone is set as soon as you enter: a 1950s “American diner” atmosphere with gaudy red moleskin armchairs, a white marble table and slogans that sum up the brand’s philosophy: “Yes, 600 g is a lot, and even then we only weighed the steak.”
