Regensburg – SV Werder Bremen won the second game under the new coach Ole Werner and finally made it to the top of the table.

The first division relegated team won 3: 2 (1: 1) at third place in the table, Jahn Regensburg, thus reducing the gap to the previous surprise team of the second division to two points.

In the thunderstorms of heavy snow, Steve Breitkreuz put the hosts in the lead in the third minute. Leonardo Bittencourt (39th), Marco Friedl (59th) and Marvin Ducksch (89th) turned the game in favor of Werder. The second Jahn hit by Sarpreet Singh (90th + 2) came too late for the hosts. Werner succeeded Markus Anfang in Bremen at the end of November, who had resigned because of the vaccination passport affair.
