Ladies Afternoon Tea Reception for the launch of the new Playlist By Kim jewelry line
Last Thursday afternoon, the Hamburg family business Wempe invited to the exclusive Ladies Afternoon Tea Reception and presented the new line Playlist By Kim. In the Düsseldorf branch, the invited guests from art, culture, media, fashion and beauty – including model and actress Nina Ensmann, top stylist Laila Hamidi, actress Vivien Wulf and fashion blogger Petra Dieners – experienced an inspiring “Five o’Clock Tea” “.
Playlist By Kim is a way of life: an avant-garde jewelry line to collect and spontaneously combine. Graphic and organic, modern and classic, feminine and masculine shapes; different alloys, diamond cuts and settings alternate casually in this new line. 28 rings result in an infinite number of possible combinations, so that every woman can put together her own unique jewelry playlist and reinvent her style every day. The different models are designed in such a way that they nestle against each other in the stacking concept, sometimes hack, sometimes penetrate each other like pieces of a puzzle or literally outgrow themselves to form spatial sculptures. Due to their distinctive profile, the rings can also be worn as expressive pendants on a chain.
Playlist By Kim is the amalgamation of known and unknown forms – complex and harmonious at the same time. This artistic trick is made possible by the technological innovations and the technical expertise of the Wempe atelier LC Köhler in Schwäbisch Gmünd. For over a year, the realization of the new line was tinkered with, designed and discarded, constructed and deconstructed until the supposedly unsuitable fit and something completely new was created: casual, self-confident, expressive, romantic, revolutionary, minimalist or luxurious. There are no rules, the woman alone determines the pace of her personal playlist.
