The month of June this summer has been abnormally warm. Although it still has a few days left, StormGeo meteorologist Ina Ynnesdal states that it has been a record-breaking month.
– This is an average temperature of 3-5 degrees warmer than usual in several places in southern Norway, Ynnesdal says.
Trøndelag is the area that has had the warmest weather in terms of what is usual.
– On Saturday, the June record was broken in Trøndelag. At that time, 34.3 degrees were measured at Værnes, says the meteorologist.

While we are about to leave the month of June behind us, the good weather ahead will shine with its absence across the country.
– There is a change going on. On the way into July, the whole country will notice the change. On Monday there is a rainfall area above Trøndelag. It will move north, she says.
But it is not just in central Norway and in the north that it will break down.
– There is low pressure over southern Norway too, so large parts of the country will have rainfall throughout the week, says Ynnesdal.
On Tuesday, the Meteorological Institute reported 2.4 mm of precipitation in Oslo and 16 degrees.
Changing weather
Meteorologist Ynnesdal says it will not necessarily be bad weather all the time.
– There will be changing weather. It will switch between stormy weather and fine weather, says the meteorologist.
She says it looks like Bodø and the north will get the most rainfall this week. In Agder and south of Eastern Norway, there will also be a lot of rain.
– There will also be some rainfall in Troms and Finnmark, but it will ease up a little on Wednesday in the north, she says.

What is certain is that we can say goodbye to the southern heat we have become used to so far this summer in many places.
– The temperature drops. What will characterize this week is changing weather. With precipitation also come low temperatures. We can probably expect the temperature to drop to 12-15 degrees in several places, says the meteorologist.
She adds that until Wednesday temperatures can be expected around 18-20 degrees, but that they will decline, especially from Wednesday.
The meteorologist is aware that it is difficult to predict the weather for the weekend, but that we can expect rain.
– It can potentially be a lot of rainy weather for the weekend in several places. Since the picture is so changing, it is uncertain where this rainfall will come, she says.
