Well Place, a coworking dedicated to healthcare professionals

Well Place, is the name of a new coworking space in Marseille, dedicated to healthcare professionals in the medical and paramedical sector. It will open its doors in September.

Behind this project, three partners: Laurent Dahan, Vincent Eriani and Michaël Solal. The latter explains: “We had this idea because the three of us are surrounded by caregivers and we discussed with them some of their issues, in particular on the quality of life and the balance between the professional and the staff” .

This 1,300 m² space will be made available to practitioners with 39 consultation rooms, six waiting rooms, a meeting room, changing rooms with showers, and a terrace. The operation is classic: caregivers reserve the slots they want via a specific application.

They will find in the offices all the necessary medical equipment such as an ultrasound scanner, an electrocardiogram, a tensiometer, analysis and diagnostic equipment, etc. But, “there will be no act of surgery here”, specifies Michaël Solal.

Well Place

A place dedicated to well-being

The choice of the name of the place – Well Place – is no coincidence: “This definition of well-being is an important common denominator, underlines the co-founder of the coworking space. We wanted to create an environment in which healthcare professionals and patients feel good. In particular by having a multidisciplinary care offer on site. »

Also, one of the pluses of the place is the medical and personal concierge service. A team on site does what is necessary if caregivers have specific needs during osculations, takes care of administrative tasks, but also laundry, repairs for the car, receives orders, etc. Tailor-made in order to make life easier, “to reduce their mental load”.

Break the isolation

This kind of coworking space dedicated to health in which neurologists, midwives and psychologists can meet helps break the isolation that liberal professionals can face.

“It’s true that practitioners are surrounded during their studies, then they find themselves alone. Here, they will be able to meet people, exchange ideas and break the routine. Moreover, we plan to organize events such as conferences, afterworks which will be open to all practitioners in Aix-Marseille. We want to create a health community to improve the course of care and for us, it must happen through a third place of this kind, ”says Michaël Solal.
