‘I’ll definitely take a look when I’m in The Hague,’ says Oosterbeek. ‘It’s nice that the HapSnap is back.’ Is he now in Hawaii, rich from all those Hapsnapburgers and countless milkshakes? ‘Haha, no, if only it were true. It’s not that kind of party. I certainly made money from the sale, but not a ship has come in with dimes.’ He has no intention of reinvesting in a snack bar chain. ‘No, I’m way too busy with golf, tennis and my grandchildren. So no new plans for me.’
