Wiesloch. On Saturday, March 13th, it will be played and streamed: Who the jury – consisting of Jutta Werbelow from the nightingales, Harry Schubkegel, once founder of the music house “Session” Walldorf, Andrea Michels from the Wiesloch city administration (cultural office), Olli Roth and Jens Logies from the Rotarians – convinced and able to secure a performance in the final, then puts his skills to the test Concert evening live proof. Christoph Engelsberger: The Wiesloch veteran writes his own songs, sings and mostly plays the piano / keyboard himself. In 2005 the first album Umbruchstimmung was released with the participation of musicians, including the sons of Mannheim.
Cris Cosmo: Songwriter, entertainer and coach from Eppingen, Cris’ songs were nominated for the Echo and the German Songwriting Award, received a Radio Rainbow Award and finally brought him to the Bundesvision Song Contest.
Johanna Roth: started to write her own songs during her school days at Ottheinrich-Gymnasium in Wiesloch. Appearances followed at the JUZ, at the Wiesloch city festival, at the IHLE winery, at the big “Fridays for Future” demonstration in 2019.
John Melo: writes, composes and sings with everything he has to sort thoughts and feelings. The musician from Waghäusel pulls people under his spell, he makes German-language pop music with a hip-hop twist and his own funky note.
Magdalena Schaust: The only 16 years old from Dielheim is an absolute surprise, she has been writing her own songs since 2015 and is now entering the big stage for the first time.
The audience then has a say and can cast their vote, together with three jurors and presenter Olli Roth, who will emerge as the winner of the evening. By the way, a place in the finals has also been reserved for the audience’s favorite.
