The Minister of Transport Nikolay Sabev replied with the post of president Rumen Radev.
“We will dig it out ourselves. It’s about the snow,” Sabev wrote on his Facebook account.
Sofia24.bg recalls that the reason for the verbal shootout was the cannonade of snowballs against the prime minister Kiril Petkov and the Speaker of the National Assembly Nikola Minchev on Shipka peak.
After the unpleasant incident, Minister Sabev, again through a post on the Internet, stated that he would demand the resignation of the head of the NSO.
Shortly afterwards, President Radev, who reports directly to the service, said:
“It is not the job of the NSO, SANS or the Interior Ministry to dig snow in front of the prime minister. Their job is to guarantee his security,” Radev said, adding:
“It is not the job of ministers to assess the NSO, especially when it is not in its remit. It is the job of ministers to fight the social and economic crisis.”
