KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) closed in the green zone on Thursday (9/12). Citing data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) via RTI Business, the JCI rose 40.13 points or 0.61% to a level of 6,643,932.

The strengthening of the JCI was supported by 10 sectors out of a total of 11 sectors. The sectors that strengthened the most were the non-primary consumer goods sector at 1.96%, followed by the industrial sector at 1.65%, technology at 1.37%, transportation at 1.16%, and the primary consumer goods sector at 1.07%.

Then there is also the energy sector 0.77%, the financial sector 0.47%, the health sector 0.43%, the infrastructure sector 0.42% and the property and real estate sector 0.15%. Only the raw goods sector fell 0.03%.

The total volume of stock trading on the IDX on Thursday reached 31.29 billion shares with a total transaction value of Rp 15.15 trillion. There were 304 stocks that gained, 227 stocks that fell and 146 stocks that were flat.

Foreign investors noted net buy of IDR 2.56 trillion in all markets.

Foreign notes net buy the largest share in PT Bantoel International Inv. Tbk (RMBA) of IDR 2.7 trillion. RMBA shares closed flat at Rp 306 per share. The total trading volume of RMBA shares reached 2.71 billion with a total transaction value of Rp 2.7 trillion.

Shares of PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) is also widely collected by foreigners amounting to Rp 73.7 billion. BMRI shares closed up 2.80% to Rp 7,350 per share. The total trading volume of BMRI shares reached 25.92 million with a total transaction value of Rp. 187.6 billion.

Foreign investors also bought up the shares of PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) of Rp 61.8 billion. ASII shares closed up 3.45% to Rp 6,000 per share. The total trading volume of ASII’s shares reached 38.22 million with a total transaction value of Rp. 225.7 billion.
