Welcome window dressing, foreign wholesale of these shares on Monday (13/12)

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) closed in the green in trading earlier this week. Citing data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) via RTI Business, Monday (13.12), the JCI rose 9.94 points or 0.15% to a level of 6,662.87 at the close of trading.

The increase in the JCI was supported by the strengthening of seven sectors on the IDX. The sectors that strengthened the most were the transportation sector, which rose 3.14%, the non-primary consumer goods sector 2.40%, the raw goods sector 0.98%, the technology sector 0.62%, the financial sector 0.52%, the health sector 0.08 % and the energy sector 0.07%.

While the other four sectors in the red zone were the industrial sector which fell -1.55%, the infrastructure sector -0.70%, the primary consumer goods sector -0.34% and the property and real estate sector -0.11%.

Although the JCI strengthened, foreign investors noted that net sell samounting to Rp 659.09 billion in all markets. However, foreigners also collect a number of these shares helped to lift the JCI.

Foreign investors noted net buy largest share in PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) of Rp. 65.0 billion. BBRI shares closed slightly higher 0.73% to Rp 4,160 per share. The total trading volume of BBRI shares reached 186.18 million with a transaction value of Rp 778.4 billion.

Foreigners also collect a lot of shares of PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BBNI) of Rp 44.7 billion. BBNI shares closed up 1.11% to Rp 6,850 per share. The total trading volume of BBNI’s shares reached 27.2 million with a total transaction value of Rp. 187.2 billion.

Shares of PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (EMTK) were also bought up by foreigners amounting to Rp 32.6 billion. EMTK shares closed up 5.19% to Rp 2,230 per share. The total trading volume of EMTK shares reached 56.71 million with a transaction value of Rp 125.3 billion.
