Welcome to the premiere of “A Spanish Play” with magnificent Bulgarian actors at 4.X in Burgas – 2024-09-13 14:23:33

A Spanish play

Do you want to watch an interesting and exciting theater production performed by outstanding actors? Save the date October 4, 2024 (Friday), when from 7:30 p.m. at the National Television Center there is the Burgas premiere of “A Spanish Play” by the Small City Theater “Behind the Canal”. The performance by Yasmina Reza is directed by Bina Haralampieva, and you will see Vladimir Penev, Maria Kavardzhikova, Svetlana Yancheva, Vasilena Atanasova and Malin Krastev in the roles.

Reviews of the production have been glowing, with such superlatives as “everything is wonderfully acted,” “a two-hour acting lesson,” “the skill of the actors is truly astonishing,” “there is not a single false note.” If this sounds good to you, hurry to reserve your seat for the premiere. Svetlana Pancheva’s translation and Asen Avramov’s music also contribute to the impressions of the play.

The plot follows the meeting of the professional house manager Fernan (Vladimir Penev) with the daughters of his fiancee, the widow Pilar (Maria Kavardzhikova), living in a cooperative managed by him. The daughters are actresses, one of whom (Vasilena Atanasova) is a successful movie star, and the other is a young woman with an unsuccessful career, Aurelia (Svetlana Yancheva), married to the troubled Mariano (Malin Krastev), who tolerates cohabitation with her only thanks to the cup.

You can expect a fun and involved plot and several levels of theater within the theater, with the actors stepping out of their roles at certain moments and talking – to the audience, to the fictional author of the play they are a part of, to themselves. Get ready for all kinds of emotions – from sincere laughter to tears, through agonizing longing, to suffocating shame and welcome to a feast for connoisseurs of theatrical art and truly impeccable and brilliant acting.

Tickets for “A Spanish Play” are on sale at the Clock box office.
