Just 19 days from the end of the World Cup in Qatar, the country is preparing for the last time. We are gearing up to ensure a unique and better World Cup experience in every respect. Huge safety preparations have been made for the World Cup. From today until December 23, entry into Qatar will not be possible with visitor and business visas, even on arrival. Instead, admission until December 23 is only on Haya card. No covid vaccine or negative covid test certificate is required for entry.

The World Cup will take place from November 20th to December 18th. The Haya Card is an entry permit for football fans in Qatar. A Haya card is required together with the ticket to access the stadium. Cardholders also get free public transport services such as buses and the subway. Haya cardholders can stay in Qatar until January 23rd. Visiting Haya Card holders from abroad can bring up to three non-ticketed guests as guests.

Haya card holders can enter Saudi Arabia on a free visa from 11 November to 18 December. They can stay in Saudi Arabia for up to two months and perform Umrah. The UAE has granted multiple tourist visas valid for 90 days to Haya card holders. The UAE and Oman can be entered from today.

A five-day security exercise was organized with the participation of 13 friend countries of the brothers to ensure security.
The International Consular Services Center was opened at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center for fans from different countries. This is the first such facility in the history of the FIFA World Cup.

Souq Waqif, the country’s leading commercial entertainment center, will be operational 24 hours a day. Doha Corniche Street, the main venue for the World Cup carnival, and associated streets will be pedestrianized from today until December 19th. There will be free shuttle buses throughout central Doha.

In government sectors, 80% of people can work from home until December 19th. The working hours of schools, kindergartens and other educational institutions in the public and private sectors have been changed from 7:00 to 12:00 until November 17.
The Bollywood music festival will kick off on the 4th at Lusail Stadium, site of the World Cup final. The famous Hindustani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, the famous playback singer Sunidhi Chauhan and the famous brothers Salim — Sulaiman will complete the music.
