Jakarta –
PDIP seems to have closed the opportunity to carry the Governor of Central Java (Central Java) Pranowo reward run as a presidential candidate in 2024. PDIP also welcomes Ganjar if he wants to continue running as a presidential candidate through another party. Does Ganjar want?
Political observer from CSIS, Arya Fernandes, believes that Ganjar will consider several things to run for presidential candidate in 2024 without PDIP. According to him, Ganjar would like it if there was a party that really supports it through the party’s highest decision.
“How long it is possible for Ganjar to want to go outside of PDIP is determined by several things, first whether the parties are able to guarantee Ganjar to be nominated. If there is a guarantee, for example, the statement of the party’s official decision through the highest forum, the National Working Meeting, Rapimnas. made Ganjar interested in nominate,” said Arya, to reporters on Monday (4/16/2021).
“Although Ganjar’s electability is high, there is no party that has looked at institutionally, for example, suddenly there is one party making the National Committee to support Ganjar, for example, there is not yet. So the certainty that he will advance without PDIP is uncertain,” continued Arya.
Arya said if there is a party that carries reward difficult to qualify for candidacy. Because, according to him, the majority of parties already have their respective candidates.
“Gerindra is not possible, Golkar also has a candidate, from the middle party it is also a bit difficult for PKB to advance Cak Imin as well,” he said.
Even though Ganjar’s electability is high, other parties also still take into account the benefits of carrying Ganjar. According to him, Ganjar’s electability does not necessarily make his party win.
“From the side of the party, they will also calculate if they support Ganjar, the party’s vote will be big or not, will it not benefit, and there will be a possibility that he will not win,” he said.
Political observer at Paramadina University, Hendri Satrio, said it was impossible for Ganjar to run for president without PDIP. He said Ganjar did not want to be called a peanut, forgetting the skin.
“I predict that Ganjar won’t want to run from parties other than PDIP, there are 2 reasons, Ganjar doesn’t want to be called a nut, because he was raised by the PDI-P,” said Hendri.
Ganjar has also received a number of facilities through PDIP. That’s why, according to him, it is impossible for Ganjar to dare to go forward without PDIP.
“The second reason is that as a PDI-P cadre, Ganjar has received many facilities from the PDIP,” he said.
PDIP Invites Ganjar to Advance through Other Parties
PDIP opens its voice regarding Pranowo reward who can run for a presidential candidate (candidate) in 2024 from another party. PDIP welcomes it.
“In that case, Mas Pacul’s hearing, May 25, Tuesday. If he (Ganjar) comes forward, your words are welcome from the party. Mas Pacul has already answered, I can’t repeat it as a cadre. PDIP Deputy Secretary General Utut Adianto told reporters at the parliament complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday (14/6/2021).
Chairman of the PDIP Bapilu Bambang Wuriyanto once spoke about the desire of another party to propose to Ganjar as a presidential candidate in 2024. Bambang Pacul said that PDIP would welcome Ganjar if he wanted to take steps like former PDIP cadre Rustriningsih.
Rustriningsih is a former PDIP cadre and the Regent of Kebumen. In 2013, Rustriningsih wanted to run as Governor of Central Java, but PDIP did not give his blessing. Rustriningsih in the 2014 presidential election then supported the Prabowo Subianto-Hatta Rajasa pair, in contrast to the PDIP which carried Joko Widowo-Jusuf Kalla.
“This is how Mrs. Rustri is a PDIP cadre, she is the heroine of Mrs. Megawati Soekarnoputri, Mrs. statement in Central Java ‘This is my hero’, but when Mrs. Rustri later moved to another party, were you angry or not? I don’t know about your problem, but is there an angry statement or not? Not available. Can I? Yes, please, if the person (Ganjar) wants it, the person (Ganjar) wants it, there have been many examples, there are many examples in Central Java that everyone knows, Mrs. Rustriningsih,” he said.
