Blaise Matuidi finally started a new adventure in his football career. The French midfielder officially became a player Inter Miami FC.

Matuidi’s move was officially announced by the Major League Soccer (MLS) club, Thursday (13/8/2020) afternoon WIB. It did not say how long the Matuidi contract would be.

“I am very happy to welcome my friend Blaise to Inter Miami. He is very enthusiastic, an extraordinary player, and also a great figure,” said the Miami co-owner, David Beckham, on the club’s official website.

“It is a proud moment to have a world champion player with quality like Blaise – for us and for the fans as well,” continued Beckham, who has teamed up with Matuidi at Paris Saint-Germain.

Matuidi has played for Juventus for three seasons since being recruited from PSG in 2017. Matuidi’s contract actually has one more year left, after extending it in February, but he chose to part ways with the Turin club.

Matuidi has recorded 133 appearances for Juventus in all competitions. He scored eight goals and seven assists. He also presented three Scudetto titles and one Coppa Italia.

Departure Blaise Matuidi it was predicted because of the arrival of Andrea Pirlo as the new coach. Moreover, Matuidi’s performance this season is not very good because he only made one goal in 45 appearances.
