The two Los Angeles teams looked to set a milestone ahead of the next NFL season when they faced off at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood – but the biggest hits weren’t purely just for the pitch after the footage was captured. of a mass brawl in the stands.
Last season’s NFL campaign went, for the most part at least, with the absence of fans due to restrictions in place due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Much of those restrictions have since been lifted as the league seeks to restore some degree of normalcy, but a side effect of this was evident during the game when some sections of the fans let their fists fly.
Images of the brawl appear to show that at least one of the fans was bloodied in the fight – with the crash continuing for a full 45 seconds before dying out.
Security eventually intervened and kicked out at least one of the implicated football fans.
And judging by the reaction on Twitter, many fans weren’t impressed with what they saw.

« This lady almost lost her shirt. It’s pathetic, games finally allowed and people are wasting it, said a third.
And as for the game itself, it was the Chargers who left with bragging rights, beating their City rivals by a score of 13-6.
