Welcome to Andreas Hess – benefit concert with PEGGY MARCH in Hofbieber 29.2.23 – Rhön Canal

With the “Welcome to Andreas Hess” series of events, Andreas Hess is once again presenting a real event highlight this year.

As part of the planned show, the charity idea also has a major role to play. This event will be continued as a follow-up event to the benefit gala “High up for Klara” from last year on April 29, 2023 in Hofbieber.

The proceeds from this concert will support the “hochhinausfürklara” campaign, a matter close to the heart, as Andreas Hess reports. Klara Kirchner was born with a very rare genetic defect: CAMK2B.

In order to give Klara more participation and later more opportunities for greater independence, the family from Gotthards urgently needs a lift. A benefit concert will be held to raise the sum of 80,000 euros for the lift.

This year the concert will take place on April 29, 2023 at 6 p.m. in the community center in 36145 Hofbieber. Admission is from 5 p.m.

Ticket pre-sale has already started. Tickets are available from the Hofbieber tourist information office, in the Hofbieber village shop, ONLINE at www.hess-heimatladen.de as well as under the ticket hotline 0170 77 20 20 0.

As part of a combination ticket, tickets are also available with an overnight stay in the neighboring hotels – the Gasthof Sondergeld or the Gasthof Kiesbergquelle.

What makes this concert so special?

“We were able to win a real star, a real legend from Florida. In addition to the concerts in the big cities in Germany, as well as in all major TV shows and talk shows, we were able to find a date for the concert in Hofbieber. Our star guest this evening will be PEGGY MARCH”says Andreas Hess happily.

Despite her busy schedule this year and her anniversary, Peggy March also wants to take care of people who are less fortunate. That’s why we’re so happy that she could be won for the “Welcome to Andreas Hess” gala.

On this evening she will sing her big hits “I will follow him”, “At 17 you still have dreams”, “Fly Away Pretty Flamingo”, “Once in love always in love” and much more.

Peggy March herself says: “I like to get involved and I’m happy when I can help.” For Andreas Hess, a wish comes true with this evening.

“I grew up musically with Peggy March and it’s an honor for me to be able to present a real Schlager legend”according to the organizer.

PEGGY MARCH

2023 is her big anniversary year, pop legend Peggy March not only published her autobiography “I Will Follow Me – How I started to be myself” for her 75th birthday in March, but is also on stage with many musical programs.

With her book, her story as an artist and the numerous hits to sing along in her luggage, she travels from Florida and goes on tour through Germany. The program she has put together for her fans is as diverse as she is.

In 1963 Peggy March celebrated her great and international success with the title “I Will Follow Him”, which was later adopted as the theme music of the musical “Sister Act”.

Many hits like “At 17 you still have dreams”, “Once in love, always in love”, “Carneby Street” and “Memories of Heidelberg” followed. She is a guarantee for catchy tunes that everyone knows to this day.

With her album “You’re never too old for dreams”, the American artist made a successful start again in Germany in 2019. A wide range of hits, an exciting life story, a multifaceted artist.

In her program, Peggy March sings her best-known hits and takes the audience on a journey from her musical beginnings 60 years ago to the present day.

Together with Andreas Hess, the audience will learn a lot from and about Peggy March – paired with music from 6 decades.

A EXTRA CLASS concert, a show with lots of music and songs to sing along with.

In addition to Peggy March, we are expecting other artists this evening. A hit show with music from yesterday and today.
