Final in eAllsvenskan with Örgryte IS for three consecutive years, two of which ended with gold.
Now 22-year-old William “Dejex” Berg is ready for reigning Swedish champions IFK Gothenburg.
– The investment that IFK Gothenburg is making is something I want to be a part of. The club matches my ambitions and I look forward to representing IFK Gothenburg both in eAllsvenskan and internationally, says William himself.
At IFK Gothenburg he will once again be team mate of Stefan “iStefko” Curic, with whom he won SM gold together in 2021.
– We have evidence that William and Stefan work well together and we know this is a guarantee for good performance. He is also a role model for many young people through his social media and shares the values of IFK Gothenburg. This overall rating means we are very pleased to be joining William, says our manager Pontus Frostvik.
At the same time, Stefan Curic extended his contract for another year.
– It’s great to have extended my contract and I’m ready to take further steps, says Stefan Curic.
Simon “Zimme” Nystedt will step aside during the season for study and future work situation reasons.
– Simon will be a reserve in team competition, but at the same time continue to compete individually for IFK Gothenburg, says Pontus Frostvik.
