When you arrive in a new city to live there, it is pleasant and gratifying to be truly and concretely welcomed there.s.
This was expressed yesterday, collectively and individually, by the twenty new arrivals in Vienna who participated in a welcome ceremony which took place on Saturday September 23 in the Saint-André-le-Bas cloister.
Also a way to facilitate their integration.
They first benefited from a visit lasting more than two hours, with Jean-Yves Curtaud, municipal councilor responsible for heritage and president of the Tourist Office, as a guide, with meetings included, notably with Michel Belletante, the director of the theater François Ponsard and Olivier Sanejouand, that of the Tourist Office.
Thierry Kovacs, mayor of Vienne, who was surrounded by around twenty deputies and municipal councilors, assured him from the outset at the Saint-André-le-Bas cloister: “We wanted to receive you to wish you the welcome and introduce you to the City”.
In his welcome speech, he recalled the fundamentals, cultural, commercial, associative, sporting, or even in terms of property tax “the municipal rate of which has not changed since 2014”, etc., which undoubtedly constitutes the attraction of the city.
A welcome established for several years and clearly appreciated by new arrivals.
