In one hand the flag, one hand to ride
“The Gurktal has a great tradition in horse breeding, we also have a breeding club. And to get us and the horses used to wreath riding, we ride out for three to four hours for training,” reveals Sabitzer, who has had to put up with the accusation of not laughing enough on the horse. “I’m holding the flag in one hand, I only have one hand for riding – and it’s all about safety at the wonderful festival. I’d rather smile later.”
