Weert, ammunition and hand grenades in the Beerta house | Inland

A 43-year-old resident of Beerta (Groningen) is detained after the police found three firearms, ammunition and three hand grenades in his house. Because of those hand grenades, the Explosives Ordnance Disposal Service (EOD) was also present.

The police had received a report about the ammunition that would be in the house on the Hoofdstraat. That turned out to be correct. The EOD has cleared the hand grenades. The man was arrested for illegal possession of weapons.
