Weeknd’s big hit Blinding Lights became number one in the Billboard world charts. His song from 2019 is, according to the charts, the most popular song of all time. According to Billboard, Weeknd’s track of 90 weeks remained in the top 100 and he also replaced the current King Chubby Checker and his hit The Twist from the 60s.
Weeknd released the song two years ago in November. Since then, Spotify has achieved more than 2.6 billion streams. The popularity of the hit was further enhanced by Weekend’s performance at the Super Bowl and the fact that the song became popular on Tik Tok.
