Weekly weather forecast: Fairly chilly week with frequent chance of showers | NOW

Next week there will be changeable weather with regular rain or showers. Friday it will be mainly dry. In the afternoons the maximum temperature is usually slightly below normal at about 14 to 15 degrees. The minimum temperature is on average slightly above normal.

From Monday onwards there are regular showers in the Netherlands. Especially during the day there is occasional rain. On the coast, showers with thunderstorms may occur and inland some showers develop in the afternoon. It will be chilly in the new week, with a maximum temperature of 14 degrees on Monday. There is a moderate south-westerly wind, which is strong at sea.

Also on Tuesday there is a chance of a day full of showers and low temperatures. It gets a maximum of about 15 degrees. On Wednesday there is a southwestern air current. This causes showers and sometimes some sun. Even then it will be a maximum of 15 degrees.

The weather of the first half of the week will continue on Thursday. The chance of showers remains, but every now and then the sun can also break through. It will be around 15 degrees again, which is quite normal for early October.

On Friday it clears up slightly and the chance of showers is temporarily less. There may be a few showers in the morning and rain is also possible later in the evening. The rest of the day it remains mostly dry. It remains quite fresh with a maximum of 14 degrees.

It also remains changeable on weekends, but inland it usually seems to remain dry. At sea it still rains regularly and there is a moderate to fairly strong southwest wind. It gets slightly warmer with an average of 15 to 18 degrees.
