Monday: expenditure on medicines increased sharply in the past year

Expenditure on pharmaceutical care within the basic package via community pharmacies increased by 380 million to 5.1 billion euros in 2022. This means that expenditure rose by 8.1 percent compared to 2021. The increase is considerably higher than in previous years.
