Suzano completes purchase of 15 percent of Lenzing
Suzano, the world’s largest pulp producer, announces the completion of the acquisition of a 15 percent stake in Lenzing AG from the B&C Group. As announced in June this year, the value of the transaction is EUR 230 million, or EUR 39.70 per share.
Gabriel sees greater involvement of Kretinsky at Thyssenkrupp-Steel
The current chairman of the supervisory board of Thyssenkrupp’s steel division, Sigmar Gabriel, has proposed an even greater commitment from the controversial Czech investor Daniel Kretinsky after announcing his resignation. “The best thing for the steel division would now be if Daniel Kretinsky took over 100 percent of it,” Gabriel told Der Spiegel. “We recently had the best discussion with him about the future of steel in Europe in a long time.”
