“When the police arrive they hide or try to flee. Or they refuse to open the door. But if there are complaints and we have indications that a party is going on, we will enter anyway, ”said the police.

Also in Essen 16 people were identified who wanted to leave a house in Douglaslaan, in Kalmthout it concerned 19 people in their twenties who had come together in a house on the Kalmthoutsesteenweg.
At the events of Saturday evening in Kalmthout, most of the people present were hidden in the attic. The police could not find them until they had received permission from the public prosecutor to search the house. A large part of those present also took a verbally aggressive attitude towards the police.
All people caught at both parties will receive an official report with a view to an immediate summons, in accordance with the strict approach recently announced by the Antwerp public prosecutor’s office.
Parties were also stopped in the Kempen. “Shortly after 10 pm, our colleagues stopped a party in an apartment on the Wechelsebaan Little. 7 people present can expect a fine there. Just before midnight, our teams also found a number of young people partying in a shed on the FRAC site on Slachthuisstraat in Turnhout. Initially there seemed to be only 4 youngsters in the building, but a search of the shed with one of our patrol dogs revealed a 5th youngster. Just like in Lille, all those present here will also be fined, ”said the police.
The police of Gent knowsFrom 1 lockdown party, Saturday in the center of Ghent, a family party was held around 7.30 pm where 10 people were shut down together. Those present were fined 250 euros.
In Limburg As during the night from Saturday to Sunday, the police of the Carma zone stopped a party at which seven guests were present. They were all fined 250 euros.
