It is with this beautiful symbol that the family of the 17-year-old from Busnago, who passed away last March after a long battle with her illness, have decided to keep her memory alive among those who knew and loved her. It was Giulia’s parents and all her loved ones who donated a large seat, green and lilac, which will be permanently installed inside the Parco degli Alpini in via Piave. The family’s intent, with this gesture of great symbolic value, is to “enhance the idea of happiness by giving space to adults and children to observe life from other perspectives, just like Giulia, throughout her journey of fighting against illness, he always has.”
The inauguration of the bench will be held on Saturday 18 November at 2.30 pm in the presence of all the friends who keep in their hearts the memory of a sunny, smiling and tenacious girl, who loved life more than anything else in the world.
