TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Persis Solo lost 1-2 to PSCS Cilacap during their last match in Group C League 2 at Manahan Stadium Solo, Monday, November 29, 2021.
The result has no effect on the position Just Solo who have qualified for the round of 8 as group winners. As for PSCS Cilacap, this victory opens the opportunity to qualify.
PSCS appeared to be pressing and was able to lead by two goals through Muhamad Kasim Botan (45+4) and Ismail Haris (63). Just then won one goal through Alberto Goncalves (70). Persis’s goal was created after PSCS player, Rendi Saputra, was shown a red card.
This result does not change the position of Persis Solo. They top the Group C standings with 18 points. PSCS Cilacap rose to the second position with a score of 16, the same as PSIM Yogyakarta which dropped to the third position.
The new PSIM will play against Persijap Jepara, Tuesday, November 30. They will qualify for the top 8 if they can win. If PSIM loses, then PSCS will qualify thanks to the head-to-head advantage.
Previously, in Group A, Semen Padang FC managed to survive the relegation trap after defeating KS Tiga Naga with a score of 1-0. The result also made the Three Dragons step down to League 3.
