A source close to director Ahmed Tharwat, son of singer Mohamed Tharwat, revealed the details of his wedding, which is being held today, Saturday, in one of the major hotels in Cairo.
The source said, in a special statement to “Masrawy”, that the wedding of Ahmed Tharwat and his fiancée, Lama El Shawarby, is being held today at the Zamalek Marriott Hotel, and the ceremony is limited to book covers only.
He explained that an invitation was extended to a large number of artists in the artistic community to attend the wedding.
The source added that Ahmed Tharwat canceled the wedding and saved the wedding money to launch a charitable project to help those in need through the “Sand” application.
