You cannot avoid these fees
There are official wedding costs that everyone who has a wedding in Slovakia must take into account. The rent of the church is usually free, but alms is expected after the marriage.
The marriage certificate at the registry office is free, a certified copy costs €5. The marriage itself at the registry office, under which you belong according to your permanent residence, is also free at the specified time. However, if one of you is not from the given city or perhaps from Slovakia, other costs will start to accrue.

A permit to conclude a marriage at a different registry office or at a time other than the one specified costs €20. The ceremony outside the officially designated room (that is, not in the marriage hall of a specific registry office) costs €70, do not forget to add the fee for renting the given room.
Prepare an additional €105 for a marriage with a foreigner (€70 for the marriage, €35 for the marriage license). And if you want to get married in Slovakia, but neither of you has a permanent residence in Slovakia, it will cost €200.
