MAINZ – The state center for political education deals with the topic “Rhineland-Palatinate 2021 – Election digital” in an online talk series together with the association “Discute with Mir”. As part of the series, there will be three web talks on the challenges of the state elections in Corona times with TV presenter Christina von Ungern-Sternberg. The first event, entitled “Election under corona conditions – talk with state returning officer Marcel Hürter” on Wednesday, February 17, beginning at 6 p.m., will deal with the logistical challenges of electing under pandemic conditions and the extent to which certain groups of voters and thus that Could influence election results. The following week on Wednesday, February 24th, the digital election campaign will start at 6 pm; the last event on Wednesday, March 3, starting at 6 pm, will be devoted to the topic of “digital election support by civil society”.
