Local rains are forecast this Sunday morning in the eastern Aegean islands, eastern Macedonia and Thrace, and after noon-afternoon in the rest of the mainland and Crete, while isolated storms are expected in the northeastern mainland, according to the forecast of EMY for Cairo of the following days.
Visibility in the morning and evening hours will be locally limited and fog will form in places mainly in the west and north.

Winds will blow to the south from west directions 4 to 6 Beaufort. In the rest of the country it will be variable 3 to 4 Beaufort and gradually southerly with the same intensity.
The temperature will not change appreciably. It will reach 16 to 17 degrees in the northern continents and 18 to 19 degrees Celsius in the rest of the country.
MACEDONIA, THRACE
Weather: In eastern Macedonia and Thrace, clouds temporarily increased with local rains and isolated storms in the early hours of the morning and again in the afternoon – afternoon, while an improvement is expected from the evening. In the rest of the areas, a few clouds temporarily increased in the midday and afternoon hours, when there will be local rains and possibly temporary rains.
Winds: Variable 3 to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 07 to 17 degrees Celsius. In western Macedonia the minimum will be 3 to 4 degrees lower.
IONIAN ISLANDS, EPIROS, WEST STEREA, WEST PELOPONNISOS
Weather: A few clouds in places increasing in the midday and afternoon hours in continental areas, so local showers or showers are possible.
Winds: Variable 3 to 4 Beaufort and gradually in the North South to 5 Beaufort and in the South West with the same intensity.
Temperature: From 09 to 18 degrees Celsius. In the interior of Epirus 3 to 5 degrees lower.
EASTERN STEREA, EVIA, EASTERN PELOPONNISOS
Weather: A few clouds temporarily increased in the midday and afternoon hours, so it is possible that there will be local rain or temporary rain in the mountains.
Winds: From west directions 3 to 5 and in the south locally up to 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 07 to 19 degrees Celsius.
CYCLADES, CRETE
Weather: A few clouds temporarily increasing mainly in the midday and afternoon hours in Crete, so there will be local rains or showers in the mountains.
Winds: From west directions 4 to 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 13 to 19 degrees Celsius.
EAST AEGEAN ISLANDS – DODECANISE
Weather: Increased clouds in places on the islands of the eastern Aegean until noon, when local rains will occur.
Winds: In the islands of the eastern Aegean variable 3 to 4 Beaufort. In the Dodecanese from western directions 3 to 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 12 to 19 degrees Celsius.
THESSALY

FORECAST FOR TOMORROW MONDAY 04-03-2024
In central and eastern Macedonia, Thrace, the islands of the eastern Aegean and the Dodecanese, temporary clouds with the possibility of local rain in the early morning and in the rest of the country a few local clouds. From the midday hours initially in the west and gradually in the central and north the cloudiness will increase and there will be rain, while storms possibly strong in places will occur in the Ionian and the western continental from the afternoon and later in the north.
Visibility in the morning hours will be locally limited.
Meteorological conditions favor the transport of African dust mainly in the central and southern regions.
Winds will blow from south directions 4 to 6 and gradually in the seas to 7 Beaufort. From the afternoon in the west they will turn to westerlies up to 6 Beaufort.
The temperature will reach 14 to 16 degrees in the northern continental areas, and 18 to 20 degrees Celsius in the rest of the country.
FORECAST FOR TUESDAY 05-03-2024
In the north and east of the island country clouds locally increased with rain and storms possibly strong in places. From late afternoon the phenomena will weaken. In the rest of the country the weather will be unsettled with the occurrence of local rains and isolated storms mainly in the west.
The winds will blow to the west and south from west directions 4 to 6 and in the southern seas locally 7 Beaufort. In the eastern island country from south directions 5 to 7 Beaufort which will quickly turn to west northwest 4 to 6 Beaufort.
The temperature will drop slightly.
FORECAST FOR WEDNESDAY 06-03-2024
In the eastern island country clouds temporarily increased with rain and sporadic storms with gradual weakening. In the rest of the country, it will be cloudy at times with local rain at intervals in the continental areas, in the midday and afternoon hours.
Winds will blow from northerly directions at 4 to 5 Beaufort and in the southern seas west northwest up to 6 Beaufort.
The temperature will not change appreciably.
FORECAST FOR THURSDAY 07-03-2024
In the north it will be cloudy with local rains mainly from noon, when sporadic storms will occur. Snow will fall in the mountains. In the rest of the country, it will be cloudy at times with local rains in the continental areas during the afternoon and evening hours.
Winds will blow from north directions 4 to 6 Beaufort.
The temperature will not change appreciably.
