VERY STRONG GUSTS OF WIND WITH TOLVANERAS IN AREAS OF DURANGO, ZACATECAS, SAN LUIS POTOSÍ, AGUASCALIENTES, GUANAJUATO AND QUERÉTARO

For today, the displacement of the Fourth Winter Storm will cause a cold to very cold environment over the north and northeast of the national territory, as well as an extremely cold morning environment in the mountainous areas of Chihuahua and Durango, in addition to a possible fall of sleet or snow during the morning. today Monday in the mountains of Chihuahua and north of Coahuila. This winter storm is forecast to move towards Texas, USA and stop affecting the country during the afternoon. On the other hand, the advance of cold front No. 24 will cause showers in Coahuila, Nuevo León, Zacatecas, Durango and Tamaulipas. The air mass associated with the front will generate very strong gusts of wind with dust storms and the subtropical jet stream will cause medium and high cloudiness over entities in the north of the Mexican Republic.

Intervals of showers (5 to 25 mm): Coahuila, Nuevo León, Zacatecas, Durango, Tamaulipas, Nayarit, Chiapas and Quintana Roo.

West and northwest wind from 15 to 30 km/h with gusts of up to 45 km/h.

North Pacific: Sky with scattered clouds and no rain in Sonora. Partly cloudy sky with isolated rains in Sinaloa. Cool morning atmosphere in much of the region and cold to very cold temperatures, with frost at dawn in mountain areas. Temperate evening atmosphere in much of the region and warm in areas of Sinaloa. Variable direction wind from 15 to 30 km/h with gusts of up to 45 km/h.

Central Pacific: Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with a probability of showers in Nayarit, as well as isolated rains in Jalisco, Colima and Michoacán. Fresh morning atmosphere. Banks of fog with cold temperatures in the mountains of Michoacán and very cold in mountainous areas of Jalisco. Frosts at dawn in high areas of Jalisco and Michoacán. Warm to hot evening atmosphere. West component wind from 15 to 30 km/h in the region, with gusts of 70 to 80 km/h in Jalisco and 50 to 60 km/h in Michoacán.

South Pacific: Partly cloudy to cloudy skies during the day with the probability of showers in Chiapas, as well as isolated rains in Oaxaca. Cool to cold temperatures in the morning.
