– The key word for this week is unstable. Everyone will get a little of everything, says state meteorologist Charalampos Sarchosidis.
Despite varying weather this summer, the heat has been relatively even. Now, however, temperatures will drop and the weather will change.
All parts of the country will experience unstable weather in the coming week, according to Sarchosidis. The start of the week can offer temperatures of around 20 degrees, but closer to the weekend this will drop to 16-18 degrees in large parts of the country.
What is the weather like for southern Norway this week? Well, the key word is “changing” ????️ Everyone should be visited by a rainstorm ????️ Everyone should see the sun ☀️ and most should get 20 degrees ????️ PS: If you do not like showers and thunder, you should probably avoid the hinterland ⛈️ pic.twitter.com/XH2y8lTR0G
Sarchosidis believes it is difficult to choose a weather winner for the coming week. Everyone will get a little of everything, and the weather is largely unstable.
– In Eastern Norway, the rain showers will mostly stay in the interior. The coasts of the south and east get their best days on Wednesday and Thursday, so on these days they will be weather winners. Otherwise, it is generally quite similar, says the meteorologist.
Sarchosidis names the inner regions of southern Norway and western Norway as weather losers for the coming week. There will be at least sun here, and it is expected that there will be both torrential rain and lightning to be seen here.
– Stay away if you do not like torrential rain or severe storms.

Danger warning for forest fire
In southern Norway, a yellow warning has been issued for forest fires in both Møre og Romsdal and Vestland. Sarchosidis says that this danger warning primarily applies until Tuesday, but there is a high probability that it will last longer.
– There must be significant precipitation for this to disappear.
A few rain showers are expected in Western Norway closer to the end of the week, but it is uncertain whether this will help against the danger of forest fires.
As of now, no more danger warnings are expected from the meteorologists, but Sarchosidis says that there may be either torrential rain or lightning in Trøndelag. He describes the weather as very unpredictable.
Well deserved warmth
In northern Norway, temperatures will rise above 20 degrees both Monday and Tuesday.
– This is well deserved after a few autumn weeks lately, but you have to count on a couple of rain showers. It will not be a cloudless sky as it has been this weekend. It is wise to use the temperatures while you can, because from Wednesday they will drop again, says Sarchosidis.
Closer to the weekend, it will be cooler in northern Norway, but according to Sarchosidis, Helgeland will keep the heat a few extra days.
