August leaves with an autumnal mood, as from Thursday and for three days the weather will be characterized by rains and storms.
As Mega meteorologist Christina Rigou reports, rains will occur throughout the country while most storms are expected in the mountainous regions of the mainland.
However, it will not rain all day but mainly in the afternoon and afternoon.
Attica will not remain unaffected. Most of the water is expected to fall in northern and northwestern Attica and also in the center of Athens.
The temperature will drop and reach normal levels for the season, between 30 – 32 degrees Celsius.
However, this breath will last a few days as a further rise in temperature is expected from Sunday.

The temperature will not change appreciably and will reach 33 to 35 degrees on the mainland and 36 degrees in places in the east and 30 to 33 degrees in the island country and 34 degrees Celsius in places in Crete and the Dodecanese.
MACEDONIA, THRACE
- Weather: Generally clear weather. In the midday and afternoon hours, clouds will develop and there will be local showers and possibly isolated storms mainly in the mountains.
- Winds: Variable 3 to 4 Beaufort and in the east temporarily east northeast with the same intensity.
- Temperature: From 18 to 34 degrees Celsius. In western Macedonia the minimum will be 3 to 4 degrees lower.
IONIAN ISLANDS, EPIROS, WEST STEREA, WEST PELOPONNISOS
- Weather: Generally clear. In the midday and afternoon hours, clouds will develop mainly in the continental areas and there will be local showers and possibly isolated storms mainly in the mountains.
- Winds: Variable 3 to 4 Beaufort and temporary westerlies in the Ionian with the same intensity.
- Temperature: From 21 to 33 degrees and on the mainland in places up to 35 degrees Celsius. In the interior of Epirus the minimum will be 4 to 5 degrees lower.
EASTERN STEREA, EVIA, EASTERN PELOPONNISOS
- Weather: Generally clear with local clouds in the midday and afternoon hours and a small chance of local rain in the mountains of eastern Sterea and eastern Peloponnese.
- Winds: From the north directions 3 to 4 and in the east temporary local 5 Beaufort. From midday hours they will turn to southerly 3 to 4 Beaufort.
- Temperature: From 22 to 36 degrees Celsius.
CYCLADES, CRETE
- Weather: In the Cyclades, generally sunny. In Crete, generally clear with temporary clouds in the midday and afternoon hours and a small chance of local rain in the mountains.
- Winds: From north directions 4 to 5 and in the east temporary local 6 Beaufort.
- Temperature: From 24 to 30 and in southern Crete up to 34 degrees Celsius.
EAST AEGEAN ISLANDS – DODECANISE
- Weather: Generally sunny with a few temporary clouds.
- Winds: Northerly 4 to 5 temporary local 6 Beaufort.
- Temperature: From 22 to 34 degrees Celsius.
THESSALY
- Weather: Generally clear. In the midday and afternoon hours, clouds will develop in the continental areas and there will be localized showers and possibly isolated thunderstorms in the mountains.
- Winds: Variable 3 to 4 Beaufort.
- Temperature: From 20 to 35 degrees and in the Sporades up to 32 degrees Celsius.
ATTICA
- Weather: Generally clear with a few temporary clouds in the west and north in the midday and afternoon hours.
- Winds: From the north directions 3 to 4 and in the east temporary local 5 Beaufort. From midday hours they will turn to southerly 3 to 4 Beaufort.
- Temperature: From 22 to 34 degrees Celsius.
