The weather forecast for this April 7 in Quintana Roo and the Yucatan Peninsula expects the arrival of cold front No. 41 causing some showers.
According to National Meteorological System (SMN), for this Thursday, April 7, the fcold water No. 41 will travel rapidly the coast of the Gulf of Mexico and will reach the Yucatan Peninsula on Thursday night and Friday morning.
This weather event will bring with it heavy to very heavy rains accompanied of electrical discharges and probable hail fall in the east and southeast of the national territory, as well as in said peninsula.

According to the SMN, the Cold front will bring with it rains in some entities of the country, as well as it could generate an increase in the levels of rivers and streams, landslides and floods in low-lying areas of Veracruz, Oaxaca, Chiapas, Tabasco and Campeche.
For its part, the mass of cold air that will push the front will cause a drop in temperature on entities of the north, northeast, center, east and southeast of the Mexican Republic, strong gusts of wind in the Mesa del Norte and the Mesa Central, as well as the “North” event very strong to intense along the coast of the Gulf of Mexico, Isthmus and Gulf of Tehuantepec, and the Yucatan Peninsula.
The SMN indicates that the “North” event will be presented with gusts of wind from 80 to 90 km/h: central and southern coast of Veracruz, Isthmus and Gulf of Tehuantepec, and with gusts of 60 to 70 km/h: coasts of Tamaulipas and Tabasco, extending during the early hours of Friday towards the coasts of Campeche and Yucatán.
