According to National Meteorological System (SMN), for this Thursday, April 7, the fcold water No. 41 will travel rapidly the coast of the Gulf of Mexico and will reach the Yucatan Peninsula on Thursday night and Friday morning.

This weather event will bring with it heavy to very heavy rains accompanied of electrical discharges and probable hail fall in the east and southeast of the national territory, as well as in said peninsula.

The SMN indicates that the “North” event will be presented with gusts of wind from 80 to 90 km/h: central and southern coast of Veracruz, Isthmus and Gulf of Tehuantepec, and with gusts of 60 to 70 km/h: coasts of Tamaulipas and Tabasco, extending during the early hours of Friday towards the coasts of Campeche and Yucatán.
